The Vital Part Drinking Water Plays In Our Health

By: Aydan Corkern

During a busy day that starts early in the morning for most people, we can start that day with breakfast, or not. We have all heard how important it is to eat breakfast, but not all of us take it seriously enough to make sure that we eat a good breakfast of some kind each day. It does not mean that we should necessarily fill up on bacon and eggs, which both are high in cholesterol and fat, but they do provide protein. It is wise choices that are hat is needed in our diet for all of our meals throughout the day.

Breakfast is important because it gives us the fuel we need to get moving. All of our meals and what they consist of are important to the status of our health, but people often forget how important the liquid fuel we take in is too. Water is the most needed liquid that we should drink everyday, but so many of us fail to drink nearly enough.

A lot of time we substitute water with drinks like soda or coffee. Even though they do have a certain amount of water in them, they also contain other things that are not so good for us. We need to drink pure, clean water that does not have all of the bad things included like caffeine and sugar.

Water is meant to hydrate our body and to help us digest foods that we eat. Our bodies are largely made up of water and when we do not get enough each day, it can cause us to be less healthy than we should be. Our body cells and organs need water to function correctly and efficiently. Water is used as a lubricant by the body and produces saliva and the fluids that surround our joints. It is also what produces perspiration and helps reduce constipation.

When we are trying to lose weight, water can be used as a natural appetite suppressant because it will give us a full feeling, but it is calorie free. If you are trying to put more water in your diet, you can do this like a lot of other people are doing and carry a bottle full around with you everywhere you go. It can cause you to increase your water in take just because it is there. It might not be necessary to buy bottled water that can be expensive. Your tap water, if it has been proven to be safe, is just as good. You can also buy water purifiers for your faucets or purifying tablets.
