We have many men and woman on our fire fighters staff. They are in every state, city, and town in this great nation of ours. They are asked to do many kinds of jobs in many different situations, and they don't think twice. They put their lives on the line each and every day all day long. We have had many lost in the line of duty. If you were to find a deceased fire fighter's co-worker and asked them if this person would have done what he did if he knew he was going to die, the answer would probably be a yes. Our fire fighters are like one big family. They will come to the aid of their fellow workers with as much help as they can, and if called out of town to help their brothers and sisters out of town, they will drop whatever they are doing and get on the road. They will do bake sales to help people that have lost all they had, or they will carry out large yard sales to help the county that they might live in or the next town over. They will try to help in all of the charity drives that are brought up for the needy and will even help put together large parties for children in the cancer hospitals. They will even do food drives for the needy at Thanksgiving and Christmas times. At this time of the year, they will get together with members of the police force, and they will even bring in the entire city workers that want to help. These firemen will be asked to go climb a tree after a child's pet or be sent to retrieve a wild animal out of someone's pool. They might even be sent in a fire after a person's pet. They will step into a raging fire and try to put it out. They will be at this fire until it's out or until it has gotten the better of them. If a fellow fire fighter would happen to lose their life, they would be given a funeral that most families would never see. They will be given a military funeral with a 21-gun salute, and all the fellow fire fighters will be dressed in the dressed blues. With the fallen fire fighter's casket draped by the American Flag on a flat bed truck or horse-drawn carriage, all of his fellow comrades on foot will follow it to the grave site.
