Best Wedding Day Advice for the Bride

By: Bob Shirilla

A mixed feeling of excitement, intense happiness, joy and tension cooks up a strange feeling in the mind that restrains the bride from remembering and doing her chores perfectly on this special occasion. So, here are a few wedding day advice tips for the bride to manage the occasion and enjoy an experience of a lifetime.

The most important advice
The wedding gown is the center of discussion on this special day. So make sure that you have your new gown ready and pressed. The accompanying garments that you should take care of incorporate gloves, jewelry, garter, shoes, and definitely your undergarments like bra, hosiery, slip and panties. Keep everything ready on the day before, since you will not want to run around the main day looking for the missed items. That will be embarrassing and confusing!

Other important recommendation for the bride
First and foremost, keep your full make-up kit ready for touch ups. If you are hiring a make-up artist, then your private make-up will do the job, but if have plans to deck up yourself on your own, then take a box packed with all the necessary things. To remind you, your kit should possess the basics like, lip pencils, lipsticks, powder, eye liner, eye shadow, blush, hair spray, bobby pins, mirrors, nail polish, nail file, curlers, comb and curling iron.

Second, all the brides should have fulfilling meal before and after the wedding. It is true that the meal served at the reception is something that cannot be enjoyed amidst so many hullabaloos, but then make it a point to have a meal prior to the wedding, so that you don't feel sick. No doubt, food is something which is the last thing on your mind, but squeeze out some time for having nutritional food, to keep you feel refreshed and rejuvenating. This will ensure sufficient energy all through the day for dancing and socializing.

Third, settle in a comfortable pair of shoes, if the high heels are bugging intense ankle pain. Those scrappy and sexy high-heels look gorgeous when worn with elegance to match up the beautiful gown, but keep a pair of shoes with little heel as provision to make you feel relieved.

Fourth, pre-arrange your luggage, if you have planned your honeymoon immediately after the wedding.

A few notable points
When you are wearing your make-up, wear a buttoned-up shirt and also get your hair done. Keep a less expensive bouquet ready at hand, in case you need it. Just after your wedding, if you need to leave the country then make sure that you have your passport with you. Hire only professionals to sing and dance at the wedding. At the end of it all, do not forget that the wedding is the most important day in your life and it is more like a family gathering bonded with love and respect for each other.
